Someone from Florida came into the real estate office this afternoon and plunked down over $100,000.00 cash and bought my house.

Yes the cost of living is high here. We have no sales tax and no state income tax so the burden falls to property owners. Jobs are hard to find and salaries suck.

Actually I am hoping to buy another house through Rural Development (formerly FHA). Lots of red tape but it just might be the way to go. Then the government will be the lien holder.
