mikey12654: That's an attack??? I feel sorry for you, I hope this comes up in your life review when it's your time to cross, I suspect you're a very young soul in your first incarnation. Good luck to you...

Awwww! you feel sorry for me...

Cheers! wine

But what has all of what you said got to do with Angels?

confused

I didn't really ask for an evaluation of my stages or advancement in my reincarnation process but thanks anyway

BClady: Do you donate to the world charities who provide help to those children and their families? Do you donate your time for humanitarian efforts? Have you sponsored a child from any of those countries you speak of? Many people do and that love only comes from one source... which works through us.If you don't contribute in any of the above efforts, The issue is not as meaningful or important to you as you boast.

Charitable fundraising isn't the topic but I could say plenty regarding the church on that if it was.

Anyway back to Angels, BC, you said....

They help those who invite them in. If you choose not to see it, it won't be there.

So in order to invite the angels in you need knowledge of, and belief in their existance right ? So you need to have religious thought processes for them to exist then, true ? So if you are not religious or uneducated in it, they don't exist ???

And if so, they won't be there for the dying babies and others that the missionaries haven't reached yet. So are their souls lost because they have no guide ?

BClady: You asked why angels don't help the starving children and I answered that they do their work through us, or at least those of us who can feel their love and calling.

What happened before the IMF and the rich 1st world aid, which is only very recent. Who did the angels recruit for their soul saving tasks back over many thousands of years ?

Yeah. Maybe if I shaved, I'd know how to spell maybe. And then I could stand out. Funny how when you don't agree with religious people they go straight to ad hominem. Don't bother looking that up, personal attacks are where it started, and personal attacks are where it will end.

Stand out as much as you'd like. I'm sure "God" and the "angels" look down on me just as much as you do. But then, they have the right to. You don't. Very christian.

Done with this thread now. I can find ignorance and bigotry by looking out the door. I don't need to log on and tolerate it.

SummerUK: Oh! Sorry I must have missed that

ok thats a good idea but why do some get help and some don't?

and why aren't the angels there when children are being abused?

I'm not looking for an argument. I'm trying to understand why some believe

It is the tough times in life that make us stronger individuals. Why wish for a miracle when we have the power within ourselves to create them? If God or the angels were to come to our every beck and call, or if we just sit around waiting for a miracle, we will never know the power we have within to help ourselves.

Children are conditioned to believe they can't help themselves, but they can. Those who do...by telling someone of their plight...receive the help they ask for and are 'saved' from their situation. These are the ones who grow up to become compassionate individuals who inspire to help others of like situations.

I was an abused child. In my case I took the first step and told someone. The rest just fell into place for the better.

God helps those who help themselves.

I sit and wait
does an angel contemplate my fate
and do they know
the places where we go
when we?re grey and old
?cos I?ve been told
that salvation lets their wings unfold
so when I?m lying in my bed
thoughts running through my head
and I feel that love is dead
I?m loving angels instead

Good morning all
