First impression is always physical because that's what you see before a word is said.
I like clean...I tend to notice fingernails...and if he smells...pardon me, sweaty. yck. Hopefully, he doesn't have on a torn tshirt and crummy jeans, but I did meet a guy straight from his work one day and he showed up that way (But he had combed his hair. LOL)

The first thing I notice is how he smells. I´m not into sweaty armpits at all!
Then his teeth, then his fingernails, then his clothes, then his shoes.
A man for me has to smell good, be scrupulously clean and dressed well.
One can learn a lot about a person from scruffy, scuffed shoes, dirty fingernails and a mouth full of missing or rotten teeth.

His eyes and smile, but here in Oklahoma, his teeth (how many he has) and his hair (if he has hair or not). I don't care for the bald look at all. I like hair.

My first impressions are usually how confident He is of Himself. Looks are really not important, in my eyes anyway, it is the personality that I find that draws me to a prospective lover/friend.

i have heard that many women will look at a man's behind first.... particuarly the rear pocket area.... apparently the larger the bulge there the more appealing the man is....

The eyes have it, followed closely by teeth. I dated a man once, whose teeth looked like a freeway pile up, but who had the kindest, most enchanting eyes. Had I not met him I would have rejected him, because in every other respect he was "not my type".

Seems like many women pay attention to detail....I know clean and straight teeth are a must for most, as well as smell. I cant stand bad smells, especially bad breath ugh it kills me. Personality prevails hands down, the first impression though can sometimes determine if the man gets a chance to express his personality, right?
