scon1916: I was once told by a "true believer" that only Christians would go to heaven. when I asked her about all other religions and ants,camels,cáts and dogs étc? She replied that they were damned and would never get into heaven. Madness or what?

It would be their entire lives. An atheists story isn't about the beginning or end of humanity, it is about their lives, how they choose to live and the outcomes achieved BEFORE they die.

Can there be life after life? Ask the atheist!
There are many things in this world that has not been proven yet, but perhaps it will in time. I try not to deny the experiences of others just because I have not experienced them myself. By restricting yourself to what you can see, touch and hear, you may be limited your possibilities.
Some people claim that they haven't seen life on other planets, but that doesn't mean it might not exist. All I can say is perhaps there is.

Maybe a story like this:
Once upon a time the very first Atheist was a Christian and had a close relationship with her heavenly Father. She loved the Father so much that she brought her two younger and most dear relations to him. All three were the most devout Christians. They worshipped the Father. Little by little, the first Christian found it hard to follow God's commandments, repent, or ask for forgiveness. She even may have secretly had idolitrous encounters with other deities. Her changing and doubting heart began to influence the younger Christians. One day she took the other two and left God. They changed their names to Atheists, those who no longer worship God. God was heartbroken but still had love for the Atheists and tried to share it as best as he was allowed. God can be an angry God, but his love endures.

They discovered the scientists were WRONG in their carbon dating about 5 years ago or so....hows that hey!???
The dating wasnt millions of years ago for anything...do we see them spriging into panic over that? NO
Have they started to re-access their over blown theories?? NO
Are they going back to re-write all their carbon dating facts?..NO.
lm a believer in: As the bible states "TEST EVERYTHING..PUT IT ON TRIAL"....think about that one,we have a head full of infill put there by everything we hear....but l dont believe in a lot of the scientific myths that they create either.They are theories and until l die l wont know any real answers,so lm leaving it up to time.Either way,living in the NOW is doing me more justice than anything....lm living in the DAY that l have.The rest will work itself out...but good to toss the subject around though:)
