Oh wow, this is SO nice. Realy is.
I know how much teachers mean to kids.
My grandson here, he was doing realy badly at school. And was told he was destined for the C class next year - his first year of High School. C`s have a hard time finding work training later. Suddenly he pulled himself together, and has been studying ... and getting TOP marks! HIs teacher is SO delighted ..... she keeps phoning the house to encourage him ... and eventually she phoned to say she had spoken to a few people, and she`d gotten him into the B class!
He`s had the same teacher right thru school .. what to me looks like a teenager ..... but he realy respects her, and this encouragement of hers has helped him to find his way.
So ... thanks YOU TEACHERS. What you do to these little ones is very important to their futures.

You know, teachers have a great influence in our lives. I, when I was in the civil teaching, never realised this, I had many parents who would be shocked at the way I spoke of their children and often they would say 'are we talking about the same child?' Because they do listen to us, more than they do their parents. I know that with my current position, we certainly have an influence because it is a boarding school and the resident staff are very much involved in that time when the student would be spending time with their parents. I am often at school until late with these students, as I cannot help but be there with them. A time, like any child when they come home from school is that they are very much want to talk and chat about their day and of course they need help with their homework.I know how much teachers mean to kids.
