saoirse65: Hiya Dreamangel,
I am sure they will be grand but not so sure that there is anything much to do around Belturbet. Well there are lots of pubs and probably music at the weekends. Will be chatting to a friend of mine from Belturbet tomorrow could ask him if he knows anything about them

Back to the point in hand...... I know Belturbet well and there isn't a lot to do there at all. There is but one hotel in the town and a lot of small pubs. There is a 9 hole golf club but the nearby Slieve Russell Hotel course sucks most of the golfer trade into it. There is a tidy museum at the old railway station and it is a pretty enough wee town but it has little to offer unless you have business there. It takes in a lot of trade from boats but unless you drive there (There is a lot to see within driving distance from it) , there is nothing to keep you there unless you want a quiet time away from it all. The Lodges are nice enough from what I hear from the locals I do know.

DUBLINGUY1973: Yeah it is odd asking for you to pay for the whole lot upfront. Some places take a deposit but most don't expect you to pay for the lot before you even stay there. I'd be wary. Do they have a website?

yeah they do have a web site! but he ask me to mail the money to home address in Dublin. not at the holiday lodges confused
