I hate getting IM's from people I don't know, it's so presumptuous, I have no bother mailing anyone but it's a bit rude to IM someone off the bat.

My IM is turned off !! I can't bare strangers IMing out of the blue without as much as an email between us .
They will keep IMing and they know you can't do anything about it .
What I have done in the past is mail them and the moment they mail me back I block em .Some of the guys used to not answer back as they knew there asses would be blocked . So I have asked CS in the past to block them from contacting me .One of them must have been a bit dodgy altogether , as CS removed him from the site . He must have had a plethora of complaints against him for doing that to people on here

cool! thanks I didn't know the mods would block people for us too.... that is great to know. I must say I have never reported or complained about anyone on the site yet despite having good reason to occasionally. Normally I try and sort it out myself as I did last night, or if it is an offensive thread then I just steer clear of it.

i had to take off the im thing. i had a few nice chats with some nice fellas but then i was getting very freaky people. one also showed me his sausage. that was the last straw and i took it off. i wonder was it the same fella lol

must say thanks to all of you who made me laugh this weekend, I was confined to the house with "Suspected swine flu" but it must have been a common cold cos I am much better now
anyway there was I the last hour or 2 enjoying some emails and threads and the odd game of "mahogony" as I call it
I closed the window
he IM-ed me again
I dropped the window to the bottome tool bar
He bloody IM-ed me again and again and again
at this stage my game of scrabble and Mahogony was in tatters
so I mailed him
told him I had cam on MSN if he fancied a 2 way show
He immediately emails me back with his details and this was my reply...
"Oh fantastic,
so glad you mailed me cos now I can block you stupid
so there you go folks...
was I a bit harsh?
would others follow this advice and tip that works?
am I a mean joy killer?
we will let the CS jury decide my fate
in the meantime I hope it gave you all a laugh cos that is what I am about and I must say I am still crying laughing here!
