Just keep trying and don't give up on yourself. One day you will get so annoyed with yourself it will give you the strength to stop and to stay stopped.
By the way, when you're trying to give up something, try and live in the NOW, this moment and not at 3 today.It does help.

I found the Cheaper the cost the more you smoke and helps to delay quitting. I planned my quit date for a long time and weaned of as much as I could up to that date, then went on Champix, I needed the Champix for that extra help, It finally worked it was tough but take one day or even one hour at a time and It can be done, I was a 40 a day and would smoke anything as long as it was tobacco, I get cravings still, but will not give in to the powerful controlling poisen calling me for more Yes it was one of the hardest battles but thank god Ive done it and proud of myself ,
I say to anyone who still smokes DONT GIVE UP ON GIVING UP.

well i`m home and had 12 out and a full set fitted and its strange cant find the word yet but they will come just to say thanks for all your support it was the strangest of days for me but in the chair at 2 and out at half past so not bad going now wheres the steak and chips and stick a pork chop on there

markbikes: I do not feel that you read my thread properly. I did mention about people smoking years ago, I never said you done heroin or crack, and I did explain how I gave them up. I feel this way about all smokers in general. That is my point of view. The thread is about smoking and people were talking about smoking.

what i did not like was your holier than tho attitude .you came on with the offensive attitude and I didnt and for the record i never asked for sympathy I mearly posted to inform people the results of my habit and if some nicotine junkie gives it up well all the est to them and as your a kid and havent a clue [ like what you done in life and where have you been] I would wonder but carry on you will never stop me talking to my friends hereSorry if you did not like my point of view.

Ah i dont blame ya. I would have to cut down to about 5 a day for awhile before i could just give them up. Different situations in every day life kinda calls for a smoke but once i deal with that id be able to give them up
