Vanity, you're not alone. I got a lot of these too. I still get the obvious scammer ones...but only in email, I turned my IM off. I did try to be friends with a couple of men from overseas that emailed me, but I made it clear that it was only friends, and we didn't end up talking for long...they weren't regulars in the forums, so it was hard to keep a conversation going.------ This thread is Archived ------

This is an international dating site, as we all know, so we just contact who we find interesting or attractive, wherever they are from. They may just want to be pen pals, at the very least..
I have made friends from all over the world here, and Im glad that I didnt block them straight away, because they were thousands of miles away, because Ive now got some great pals.
Some may be scammers, but not all, so we all just have to use our common sense and weed out the weeds, so to speak!!
