petalbabe: This is a thread that I have seen on another forum, and wondered what guys felt??Oh, yeah, I agree, with that sentiment, by the way...
I thought you were talking about the role of women in the kitchen and how they should be tied to the sink with the washing up, but then it hit me, you are talking about their age
Age does not and has never mattered to me.... it's the mind that is really important here, and every woman should know that she is not washed up at such and age.
You have much to offer..... experience of life, love and relationships, friendships and more importantly you invariably know what you want out of life for yourselves, so there is none of the mucking about that normally goes on within a teenage relationship with a guy.
Straight to the point.... sometimes hurtful, but nearly always honest.
Cuts a lot of the crap out of the dating business.
Washed up ?...... NO............ just getting to the best part of life.... so live it and stop worring about what us men think !
I dated divorced women. But since I'm looking to get married for the first time, I don't know if I want to marry a divorced woman who was previously married. Did I just cut my chances seeing that I'm 47?
Big_John: I'm starting a home for women over forty who are washed up. No skills required. All cost paid. I will be availabe day-n-night for one-on-one counseling. Apply now!
What characteristics should I list on my resume?
BTW, my daughter and grandchildren live in Gulfport.

Washed up? No way! What's great about being in the mid 50's? Lets see, no silly insecurities, no pregnancy, no hot flashes, no PMS, no limits! The halfway mark was absolutely awesome for me! I'm not washed up but I sure do clean up good!

Well, I would say you are missing out on a heck of a lot of good women when you limit yourself. I have never been married but it seems to me, divorced women may have learned valuable lessons that may strengthen and enhance your relationship with them. I dunno...I'm just sayin....
tainogirl: Yeah, yeah, so whose the hot chick that's got you all shook up, no wonder you're sounding so lovey dovey. So many hook ups this week, you lucky devil!

But there's one lesson I don't want to learn about when getting married for the first time. Why women got married and it didn't work out and they are divorced.

That's great! So there is SOMEONE that can get you all mushy. However there is no gender that has cornered the market on being evil.
