Does Casper count I have seen ghosts on three occassions, 1 when I was a teenager, sleeping in my bed, when a ghost walked in thru my closed door and out thru the far wall while pausing briefly to look at me, he was tall, dark black hat and cape like Sherlock holmes wore, he has firey red eyes!...Scared the sh.t out of me.
Another was when I was staying at a friends and we were listening to music when suddenly a man appeared by the speakers, he just looked at us and then was gone, he wore modern clothes like jeans and and shirt, nice ones not scruffy...my friend was perturbed and asked me if it was her older brother (who had killed himself in that house) how would I know I had never met him, although at the time I described him and it appears it was not him.
Sometimes I hear them, but mostly I do see people who I knew when
they pass away they visit in my dreams....we are more receptive then.
If you want your loved ones to visit you ask them to come to you at night, you can say your goodbyes then, in your dreams.
One more time was on my back porch but it was out of the corner of my eye and I can not be sure.

My cat did that once! She was sleeping on my bed, it was about 3am, she suddenly shot up on all fours and started hissing and howling...scard the absolute crap out of me! When we first moved in, my girlfriend saw a male spirit in the lounge looking out at us having a drink on the patio, scard the crap out of her...she said he had a long silvery beard and was dressed in a suit, he was surrounded by a golden aura, as soon as she spotted him, he vanished pretty quick!!...The light that he was standing under used to go on and off without fail between 7 and 8 pm...
Another time i had a pomeranian that spotted something we couldn't see...was having a girly night with friends watching movies when we heard heavy footsteps, i joked and said it was a ghost...but then when my dog charged towards it and started snarling, barking and growling at nothing, we all freaked...i could not calm my dog down...!!...This place was so haunted, it made me leave...one time i was going into the bathroom with a towel rapt around me, no one was home, and a guy wolfwhistled directly behind me, that really terrified me! Use to smell roses to, and sometime's the air would get soo chilled like being in a freezer even though the heater was on!!..so much more went on in that house, i couldn't handle it in the end, I HAD TO MOVE OUT!!

my house is post war late 40 art deco/nouveau, and it has railings on the steps like and elderly persons home
anyhoo, one night, when i was very distraught about the break up of my relationship, i saw the elderly lady who had died here pass by the french doors in the lounge
she was wearing a brown skirt/greay cardigan, short, and stout body type.......
i asked my elderly neighbour what the previous owner looked like
she described what i saw to a tee
apparently the woman whose ghost i saw wore the same colors nearly every day of her life after her husband died
