We are pretty bad at getting off topic however a lot of the threads have been done before. I have been on here for around 10 months now and i have seen a lot of threads come and go. Don't let it get to you, just keep pushing the theme in the thread, just respond to those who are on topic to keep it going. Quite a few of the regs haven't been here for a while so it has ben quiet and i suppose we don't want to sound like we are repeating ourselves with the same responses from other threads so it tends to take a more off the cuff remark thread.

I have had many strange experiences in my life though I am skeptical of it all. Might just be a few too many flash basks. Usually takes a few rums to loosen the lips (or fingers in this case) to share some of my experiences

no but i have been one. i have had a few out of body experiences conscious and sleeping events. if you would like a proof of them try this:
i once wrote a manuscript called: here is the ultimate book on dreams and dreaming. i asked several friends to go and have a dream for it and come to me next day and i would show them how to interpret dreams and record their work in it.
responses were all in next day and two people were friends and they had the same dream from their perspectives in it.
sue had a very short recollection of a dream where lyn astral travelled to her home and asked her to go astral travelling with her but she was too scared to go.
lyn called by later and said her dream was short and boring. she dreamt she astral travelled to sue's home and asked her to go astral travelling with her but she was too scared to go.

Don't believe in them personally. However, I think there is a strong argument as far as their existance from a non-scientific point of view. But there is evidence (I choose to dismiss most of it) that points to the possibility.
Few years ago i had a cat.. Astro , a well trained cat ( trained enough for me that is ).
Early one morning she woke me up , standing on the bed purring into my ear , this was a common thing.. i didnt mind , it was usually 5 minutes before the alarm went off..
fast forward 1 hour. Im walking into town to grab some milk , come home , call the cat , she doesnt come , start thinking that its weird , as i trained her to come when called.. Opened the back door and saw her laying near one of my cars , called , she didnt move. My worst fears were realised at that point.. i went down to her , and as im getting closer , i see a staffy sitting there , not my dog , i dont like them..
so i get to her , she isnt moving , still warm , but its too late , the staffy had ripped her to shreds.
fast forward to that night. Laying in bed , quite awake , i feel obviously sad that my cat is gone , and in such a horrific way , but then something happens.. something i have never experienced before.. I feel footsteps in the sheets , and no i didnt imagine them , there were distinctively 5 steps taken.. My cat had come home to sleep.
yes , i believe there is something else , and i also dont think we are alone in this universe.

i can understand that.. i had a dog once, and when she died, from been run over, just after she gave birth to 6 pups, i couldnt get over the fact, that she died,,, i bury her in our friends yard, but still wouldnt let her go!!! so i use my will power, being part aborinal,, helps... i will my dog to come back, as my ex is my witness, the ground on the top starting moving, cracks were appearing, and she scream, for me to stop, " she wont be the same" was that a ghost of my dog, or me not wanting to let go. I stopped,, and the ground settle, i never returned back to her resting place again..

That's so cool...similar thing happened to a friend of mine when she was about 12...her cat died, and came back to visit her...only happened once, so i guess the cat may have been saying bye...so sweet...

ummm...woke up at 5.30am, and thought what the heck?? so went back to sleep till 7.30am, then woke with rich's favorite song in my head (when september ends by green day, especially the 'wake up' bit of that song)
anyhoo, i gets on the net, were chatting away, and i said to him i woke up at 5.30 this morning, to which he replied he woke at 3.30pm his time (which is precisely 14 hours behind our EST) thinking about me

our foal who is now 11months old....genetically she should have been born chestnut and white or plain chestnut (the mother is plain black, the father is a palomino and white pinto, both black and palomino are genetically linked to the chestnut gene in horses)
but 3 months before she was due, i kept saying to all my friends, we are having a bay and white pinto filly, i just know it
