Dont fret...it happens to us all from time to time.
friends4now: What do you think of American music? Do you like it more/less/same as artists from your country? Who are your favorite artists-still around or "retired" "dead". Americans can post too just want to hear from international friends
Brandy Donna Summer Sisaundra Lewis Whitney Huston Vernessa Mitchell Cher Tina Turner Aretha Franklin Metallica 3 Doors Down Linkin Park Nirvana P.O.D. ............ Papa Roach USA is a big country. Planty choices to pick from. The other positive thing - huge competition which helps, too. A lot of different cultures.

I apologize I thought I had responded before. When you stated to give other things a try if it's different more people should do that. I like riding with my friends and their personal cds because they always have stuff I never knew about. I like unknowns more than popular singer/bands because its typically more original. I was a manager of local band here for about a year until they went to Iraq for the USO show

thanks, no apology really needed im inro music, collecting music, reading about it, and conversations about music. its difficult to really chat casually with people about it, most people arent open about music, or the big hits-radio is all they know, i always say for every led zeppelin' there were 100 other bands doing similar things, just as interesting, but they for some reason didnt get the break, these are the types of bands/artists i seek out, not that theres anything wrong with led zep but there was/is so much more out there to discover/enjoy.

I saw him around 1970, I think, it was a great gig.
They have a tribute weekend every year in a town close to me. Quite a few bands play, all covering his songs. A good time is had by all.

PEOPLE TALK OF SPRINGSTEENS 4HR SHOWS, BUT RORY WAS ALSO KNOWN FOR SUCH THINGS, AS WAS THE CASE WHEN I SAW HIM. there is also a rory tribute in philly i think, every year.
Well I love American music, it is definitely better then Armenian, there are some Armenian singers who are good or were good because they are dead now. My favorite strictly American singers are Aaron Tippin, Barry Manilow, Frank Sinatra, Eminem, Jimi Hendrix and many more.
