I agree its quality over quantity anyday in my books .... if a thread has one or two posts and strikes my interest I will contribute ..... if it has 10,000 posts and doesn't strike my interest I won't contribute and more than likely won't even read it.

Quality time over quantity time, too. I learned that from playing with my grandson. Little scramper would like to cheat at the cards but the ideal was to spend time with him. I can remember being too busy a lot and sometimes it doesn't take that much time to make a difference.

that is true ....... letting fear hold me back doesn't accomplish anything but sometimes I think its a matter of still trying to figure it out or is learn as you go a better attitude to have?

As long as both parties are prepared to learn, then surely the self-discovery of each other will bring the relationship to a pleasurable level.

Also, it is a growing thing. It cannot be left to chance, it has to be worked on every day, or it will fail.

Forgetting to feed your flowers is one thing, forgetting to flower your "life" is another.

I think it's however it needs to be for YOU. I stopped trying to figure it out long ago. I just go for it. I learn from mistakes, sometimes not early enough, but eventually I grasp the knowledge roll eyes

If I personally had given in, settled, or let fear take hold, I would not have/had the good that comes along before, with or after the bad...how sad would that be?

Good thought Duncan about forgetting to flower my "life" because sometimes I think I forget to do this ..... having the same garden for a long time and forgetting to replant when species of flowers are past their season or have died away.

I think that alot of my dissatisfaction of late has been because I'm neglecting to plant new flowers ... so this is something that I need to work on in a number of areas in my life.

I appreciate your words as well Kris ..... I do need to choose for myself what works best and just stop analzying everything to death and just start doing it. Making goals and an outline of where I'm going and what I truly want and desire in all areas of my life. Taking charge instead of just sitting back and letting life happen.

Do you know what the first step against a new life and a new direction is Janice? To realize it has to be done. In my eyes you have surpassed that stage so you are def. on your way girl:O)

Sometimes the planning, and the excitement this gives, shows to be the actual katalyst people need to realize how lost they have been in their life.
For someones, this is enough knowing it and adjust their life accordingly. For others, like you I believe, this makes the start for a journey within yourself. Either way, it´s good to start, isn´t it:O)

I believe every choice we make in our life is a journey of some sort. Some we enjoy, others aren't so fun. Either way, we gain something, some insight, as to what we want and where we want to end up. Each event just brings us that much closer to our true hearts desire.

I suppose I should have read through the entire thread before responding, but I really didn't feel like reading through the usual male suckups. Guys have become so weak minded lately.

A guy who thinks for himself... a novel idea, but the women I've met lately are so threatened by that, they just run away when they meet someone like that! They realize that they can't control the guy, and they want nothing to do with it. It's sad really, and I guess that I really should start looking elsewhere.

Eh, such is life, we all deal with what we have. I just wish that I could find a REAL woman who isn't afraid of giving up her total control of everything around her.
