Pardon me for laffin'. We killed a snake once, thought it was a rattler and didn't want there to be a nest, so called the animal shelter. They came up (3 of them) picked it up with a stick, hemmed and hawed around knowing absolutely nothing.Then the lady who mows the yards came along and said "Oh you killed the pet bullsnake that was hanging around here. It kills mice."
SO probably the police would just shoot it (and then take it home and make soup)
