What style of music opitomised Elvis? Was it his rock and roll,gospel or ballads for you? And which track is your favourite? One of my favourites is "In the getto".
Wow cameraman ive watched American idol a lot here on uk tv but that one i missed. And I was not aware that he sang Feaver! My last girlfriend sang "Feaver" at karaoke a few months ago too and i got her on vid in facebook singing it!

Cool, it's a great song in many different versions.
Cool,he did not even know the words so read it of a sheet of paper and still did a great job. But im sure that most people prefer to see him at his peak!

Yes, I think most people do. I prefer his early days myself. But, even in the end, when it had all turned bad, he still was a performer and a great musician... it's all part of rock 'n' roll, I guess

I like the original Elvis. The later Elvis was good, but nothing like the original. Blame Col. Parker.
sleepin_bird: I agree; Col. Parker had a huge influence and not for the better. Luckily there's still plenty of the old songs around, for all to enjoy.
