Desperation (95)
caring1: Desperation comes from hopelessness and feeling that you are running out of options. At that point, we'll compromise our values and do most anything. Determination is full of hope and the focus is on all the options available to choose from.
I used to work for one of the major television networks in Hollywood. One day, a girl/woman walked into my office and sat down on my desk. I could have sworn that she was wearing a piece of Saran Wrap. She said "I need a job; I'll do anything." I sent her to the soap opera production offices. If that isn't desperation, I don't know what is.

That is very true, and I wont do that to anyone, it is Cold, it is Wrong, and it is HURT, that affects peoples emotions , BADLY, and I will NOT do tha , as i have had it done, and I have Felt the Pain and Hurt.....
And none of us deserve the ones that play with and destroy our emotions, I am HEALING MY EMOTIONS, so I can Be The right one, Not just want the right one......
It is Outgoing Love to Others!!!!!!!!!!! For those who understand it!

There is and always has been a difference between desperate and determined.Thats why they are two completely different words,
each to descibe the level of emotion that drives one to do something...and yes it does make a differance if someone picks you with the emotion of "desperation" rather than "determination".

I'm not desperate but I can be VERY determined!
Even in my present situation, which you know about, I'd not do anything desperate that I know would cause somebody else trauma.
A 'desperate' man or woman is pathetic if my meaning of desperate is the same as your meaning of the word.
A quietly determined person gets things done.
A desperate person is a potential suicide bomber..... willing to destroy others just because he/she is so unhappy and wants what he/she can't have.

I want to meet the right person for me VERY MUCH and ASAP but I do not do anything for that. I am even reserver or shy or proud or whatever you call it to write/call/act first. Seems waiting to appear him in front of my door out of blue. So am I just desperated?

I very much understand what your position is, tho you have to put yourself out there to be found, you cannot do it sitting back and not participating at least some....
Love cant walk in and find you in your livingroom.... You have to make yourself available, and then , yes a dog pile, so you must regulate it so it dont go from none to ten next week
