have to agree with Ziva on this, also being at the birth of my Grandaughter.Be lovely to be able to look back with happy memories of Spain, and when you get tired of the rain you can always visit

Yes that too, when my grandaughter was born, but the delivery was'ent a plesant one, so cant say they were happy memories, of course once born, all bad things were forgotton...
I am so jealous of you 2, here is this rainy, windy, ans 10 degree country, really depressing...but thank god i have you all here on CS, to bring a bit of sunshine to Me...

As I prepare to return to the U.K. after 7 wonderful years in Spain ,I got to thinking what would be my lasting memory of living here. I have to say that it would be the warmth and generosity of the Spanish people.
This again made me think about memories in general and when was the happiest time in my life.We probably all have many that we can relate to, but was there a special time in your past that will linger on as "the happiest day of your life" that you would like to share.
As I prepare to return to the U.K. after 7 wonderful years in Spain ,I got to thinking what would be my lasting memory of living here. I have to say that it would be the warmth and generosity of the Spanish people.
