Well just to add my little bit and i was out on the streets protesting at the CDP cuts yeasterday and i'll probably be on the next 2 as well

Now im concerned also bout the new taxes etc, im still trying to figure out what a carbon tax is, and i keep coming up with petrol increases

they already take approx 70cent of it in tax ,

As for the child benefit, i think there is an assumtion out there because some people have money they dont need it, well its a payment given mainly to women and for many women thats all they have to live on or they are made to live on it. I dread to think what will happen to these women and children if they lose this payment .

I didnt vote for this government, i like im sure many people saw what was happening but we were out voted
as for the greens they lost all credibilty, so i wouldnt take their word on anything

Whats the alternative FG, god help us its not looking very good

I wud like to c the bankers be made accountable and be made pay it back and i dont mean any more tribunals either

We dont need 166 politicians, so i propose we get rid of half, plus their advisors who are also earning a fortune
Their expenses are halved, because they are really taken the piss!!!
Oh and also their wages be reduced significantly , so they get a sense of how the ordinary person has to manage

Thats just for starters , i will have to give it more thought

personally i think we will now see a surge in support for the no campaign.
Stupid government hurting those that need help the most

Well i think it's wrong they shouldn't cut the allowance at the end of the day it's not our fault the way the country ended up these guys the people who we elected to run the country should take the fall there wages should be cut and they should pay more taxes.

But i do think that is a total in justice in the socail welfare payments are handed out,i mean i'm a single dad who is trying to support a child on only 204 a week.I also have to pay for my my own place and my other small bills on top the social welfare have refused my rent allowance telling me i'm entiled to it, i went back to college last year to better my education but still cant find work.

i hate it when i see drugies walking around in designer clothes and drivin fast cars or in my town you the regular a**hole hanging around outside the pubs all day how can they afford it when there on the dole.

I'm only barely surving and if i didnt have good family and friends i would be finished along time ago and prob home less

cutting the child welfare payment i wish this government would grow up and start listeneing to the general public needs and stop punishing us for there stupids mistakes
