Sorry that I bring this up....
I have just watched a 2 hour Doc. on TV," The Dag that Changed America".A Doc of 102 minutes of the gathered material of the 9th of Sept. when both World Trade Tour's came down. I have seen things now that I had never seen before...Not meaning any thing by it...All I want to say is , the day 911 happened I followed it on TV, elsewhere in Europe, But the doc. I just watched I was schocked by it, like many others all over the world, What I have just seen now, really touched me deeply and brought tears again to my eyes..
I just want to say that My deepest Respect to all the Fire Fighters, Police and Volenteers that put there Lives and lost there Lives on that day...My deepest sympathy goes out to those that did lose their Loved ones....I have great Admiration to all People of the USA, for there strenght on copeing with this.
I just wanted to say this, and maybe it was not right for me to do so. I am sorry if I have offeded any body by doing so,and to those CS members that had Witnessed it, also my respect..
One day I will visit New York, and also visit Ground Zero, and pay my respects there...
I placed this Thread out of respect, and I hope that any comments that will follow, will also be repectfully posted...this is not a Joke or Fun site..and no bashing remarks either...
Ziva...Thank you for starting this thread. We do need to remember 911, as painful as it might be. This was a major blow to our country.
I remember when it happened. I was working at an animal clinic then. I remember somebody coming in and telling us that one of the Towers had just taken a crash from an airplane. Although I hated to see that happen, I didn't give a lot more thought to it....we were sooo busy at the clinic that morning.
I had to get up and go to the back with an animal, and when I came back up I heard that the other Tower had been hit. I remember thinking to myself...Ok...something is up.
Not too long after that, I had to go back to the back again, and when I came back up the Pentagon had been hit....then Towers started collapsing and the other airplane crashed.
After all this....we all just sat in front of the TV at the clinic and watched....scared for what would happen next. We cried for the people. All I wanted at that moment was to just get to my son and hold him. We honestly didn't know what would happen next.
I followed the events for the whole week. I couldn't move from the TV. I sat in unbelief of what had happened.
911 changed our country in so many ways.
Yes, lets remember the people who died that day. Let's remember the ones that were there to help in every way.
If you were there on 911 and helped...Thank you for your service.

If it's the same doc. that I watched, it's an eyeopener. I was home sick the day that all took place. I saw it all happening on TV. I will never forget.

That was a very scary day for me to get a grip on...once I was awake. I woke up early afternoon to my voicemail beeping. I check the message and it's my mom saying to call her. something's happened. they way she sounded, i was preparing to hear that my grandma was dead or something. she screamed at me to turn the tv on to the news.....repeat. after repeat...after repeat. my family lost some friends on one of the planes....and luckily my parents friends son was on leave from the pentagon...i ended up taking 2 poster boards. on one i wrote one star, one nation united we stand. on the other i had a flag...with a single star. everybody came by to take pictures and show support....but i was so devastated i cried all the time.....or had panic attacks.

I forgot to mention, I woke up late because i was still feeling my sleeping meds in my system. so i was very groggy and out of it.
Ziva..you are so right..we should never forget, but unfortunately, as time passes we do tend to get once again wrapped up in our own small, shallow world...kudos girl for taking the time to remember!

we will never forget this...
and thank you for your respect post..we share the sadness of our fellow American friends.
I saw that documentary also. It sent shivers down my spine. I don't think anyone could understand or accept what was happening at the time. It seemed surreal listening to the newsflashes on the radio that day. Every Tv station showing the same thing. Everyone fearful of what else was going to happen.
That day affected and changed the whole world not just America.
