Dublin as a place to live in 2009 (17)
I don't think I could ever live in Dublin. I was in Dublin for a weekend in July. It was the first time I had been out there in years.
Country life is in my blood. I have to be able to find quiet, open spaces, just to be able to stand, look and enjoy nature.

im same, lived in Boston for years...Dublin no chance...not my thing...even when I went to college there...didnt like it! Love the Zoo tho,
I have being to dublin 3 times in the last 4 years or so i enjoyed it i would happily move there and i dont feel i would miss limerick too much either...

Personally (and i wish i could say otherwise) i don't like it so much. Huge amount of bad vibes going round these days. Or is it just me?

Dublin? Me thinks its all around us times have really changed and if anything the celtic tiger done more harm than good.

Its amazing, totally diferent lifestyle...I would go back tomorrow!
I could probably live there (at a push ) just as long as i dont have to drive around it

there is an underground train on every corner and its like every 2 mins!!! such an easy city...not only for that...but always something to do, your wage goes alot further, ( a hell of a lot further...)

im from dublin and i hate living here !
Circumstances mean i have to but if i had the choice id be back down to the midlands where i lived for a few years,
clean air and a much better way of life imo
I don't think I could live in Dublin again..and I'm a dub. Best decision I ever made was to move to the country.

It's a fine city but the traffic congestion would put me off.
I love living in Dublin.I am originally a culchie and this is second time around for me having lived abroad in between. I cried the day I left and felt contentment wash over me the day I moved back!

Yeh, I think that is the key! I live in the city centre, a quiet spot though, and i walk everywhere. No driving at all...
I love Dublin and if it wasnt for the ridiculous prices of the houses there and absolutely no chance of getting a job I would live there ...
