I am cooking a homemade 15 bean soup with sweet corn bread for our supper...I make an awesome bean soup ,I like it somewhat warm but not overly hot,spicy I mean...what are you guys having? wine

Supper tonight will either be a whopper jr. meal from Burger King or a turkey & cheese sandwich with potato chips from home. It's such a difficult choice, which shall I choose?

hopefloats: Supper tonight will either be a whopper jr. meal from Burger King or a turkey & cheese sandwich with potato chips from home. It's such a difficult choice, which shall I choose?

yes it does have 15 differant types of beans ...you buy it in the dried beans section of the store with the rest of the dry beans and peas...it comes with a package of ham seasoning as well...I add bacon in mine as well. wine

for those who wish to know...this is what is in my soup as far as beans that is....Northern Beans,pinto,large lima,blackeye,garbanzo,baby lima,green split peas,kindey,cranberry beans,small white beans,pink beans,small red beans,yellow split peas,lentil,navy,white kindey,black beans,....maybe they should call it 17 bean soup laugh

Who says the forums aren't good for anything??? So far this morning I've learned that there are at least 15 different beans and that there is a National conception day in a foreign country.

I have now added onions,green peppers,banana peppers, bacon,jalapeno peppers,celery,oregano,thyme,a dash of chili powder.....the kitchen is starting smell good.....

It's a Polish dish I learned from my aunt. They lived in a predominantly Polish area.

It's cabbage sauteed in a frying pan with a stick of butter. Then you put it over egg noodles. Coat with pepper. I like to add cut up kielbasa to have the meat in the meal. DELISH!! thumbs up
