sweetowen: It's a Polish dish I learned from my aunt. They lived in a predominantly Polish area.

It's cabbage sauteed in a frying pan with a stick of butter. Then you put it over egg noodles. Coat with pepper. I like to add cut up kielbasa to have the meat in the meal. DELISH!!

This sounds fabulous!

Hungarians make the same dish known as cabbage noodles. The pepper is critical, also mince an onion and cook it with the cabbage. It sounds gross but as we both know it is scrumtious.thumbs up

Hey all!wave

I'm heading outside to fire up the grill and smoke some chickie thighs. I'll use hickory to build up the coal bed then I'll toss on some persimmon wood just before the thighs go on.
I'll have some garden fresh sliced tomato to go with. MMMMM!

Tomorrow I'm heading out to Denver & a pile of fruit! Actually
I'm meeting up with a buddy of mine from the orchard I used to work in years ago. Then we're heading to the Denver gem & mineral show. The hound is going with so I'll have to make it up to the mountains at least 1 day.

But this is not a spicy dish. The only spice I use to spice it up is pepper.
