He pulled the plug on Dylan when he tried to start his electric set at the folk festival. The amps got plugged back in & then Pete,(supposedly), tried to come out with an axe to destroy the amps.

'The Man From Snowy River' was a very good movie.

'Casablanca' is a timeless classic, no doubt!!!

'The Barefoot Contessa' is another great Bogart film, of course many of his are classics for all times!!!

I really liked 'As Good As It Gets' too!

I'm with you!
There are SOOOO many retired racers that need a good home as they're dumped by racer owners after they're run out!

I thought about getting a couple(rescues) a decade or so ago but was concerned, thinking they were a very hyper dog.
Much to my amazement(& education), I found they are very docile!
Of course given the proper amount of required exercise everyday!
I went to the pet store that features rescues from the local humane societies on weekends & there were Greyhounds laying around aloof as all get out with small children running around & yelling(exuberantly)
all about them. They couldn't seem to care less!

I, at the time opted for a rescue Great Dane, another fabulous personality dog. Or as I call them Grand Noble Old Souls!!!!

But, when I'm ready again for more 4 legged kids I think I will go with the Greyhounds!!!!
