CasualCarol: I will miss your insightful songwriting, Pete. RIP
Thanks, Pete, for your wisdom and positive influences in the environmental impact arena...... "Ten million little things — like leaves on a tree, or ripples spreading from a raindrop in a high mountain lake," where everything on the smallest scale matters...... This land is your land.......

Yep, thanks Pete!
And for trying to keep folk music 'pure' !
He pulled the plug on Dylan when he tried to start his electric set at the folk festival. The amps got plugged back in & then Pete,(supposedly), tried to come out with an axe to destroy the amps.
A Purist, for sure!
Woody Guthrie wrote 'This Land is Your Land' , just sayin'.
Pete, Woody, they were both good apples from the same tree!!!!

I am a huge Pete Seeger fan from WAY back when--he certainly was the epitome of the pure, strong, kind, and bold folk singer/writer. What a wonderful life-time blessing he was (and will continue to be) for me. A great, great man, and so free of the celebrity schlock that wrecks otherwise good people.
