Yes one can cherry pick incidents & stats all day long. What about the thousands killed by second hand tobacco smoke via cancer? Or the tens of thousands killed each year by drunk drivers or alcohol induced domestic violence?
I'm not saying there is an answer or answers that are clear cut & easy to define. But think of the billions of dollars that are involved/wasted(no pun intended, well, maybe) in the trade of illicit drugs on both sides, the suppliers & the prohibitors, on the take, or just being sure to get the funding to fight a war that will never be won. Prohibition didn't work with alcohol, does it seem to be working with other drugs?
Surely there must be some middle ground solution that works out best for the whole populations in general?
It ALWAYS seems so easy to neglect the fact that the 2 most addictive, destructive drugs are already legal, (ie:alcohol & nicotine) nicotine being more addictive than cocaine & heroin!
But hey the pursuit of money can be equally destructive as many of these other drugs!
Soak the seeds, maybe 3-4 tbs for alfalfa seeds, 4-6hrs(depends on what type of seeds you're sprouting) then drain. I use a 1 gallon glass pickle jar. I use a piece of old nylon stocking & a rubber band to secure it to the top of the jar. This allows you to rinse & drain the seeds easily. After you drain off ALL the water, shake the jar to kinda spread out the seeds so they're not all clumped together. Keep the jar inverted as much as possible without causing the seeds to fall & clump on the stocking, but leaving it so as much water as possible will drain out.
Rinse, at least, 2x's a day & be sure all the water drains out. Remember to shake them loose each time too! Keep them near a window so they get some light, but never direct sun. You want to kinda keep the seeds cool & not let them get warmed up over 70F, then again, they need a bit of warmth to germinate, so not too cool either.
Some people use cheese cloth which helps let the seed hulls run out with each rinse. This doesn't work so well with alfalfa seeds initially.
After the cotyledons(2 tiny leaves) separate, then you can put them in a bit more light to get the chlorophyll up, but again, not direct sun or it could wilt them & they'll sour.
It's not really that hard, you just have to play with it a bit & tweak your process here & there.
I've sprouted alfalfa mostly, but some radish added in makes for a very nice spicy mix. Your local health food store can give you tips on what other seeds work well with sprouting. I know broccoli, sunflower & mustard work too! Some people sprout wheat in potting trays & then cut the grass/green part when it's about 2-3 inches tall & puree & drink.
Actually, money is in a way a big part of the problem, at least at the lower line staff level. I say this because, all too often many people that don't care about other peoples well being know they can get a better paying job with minimal time spent in education by getting an A.A.S. degree in 2 years or less & make lots more money than they can burning hamburgers at McD's!
This is not to say that all A.A.S people don't care or put forth their best compassionate effort!
When in reality, they should be burning burgers at some place where their not caring attitude, at worst causes one to toss out the burger or get their money back! And not affect the quality of care ill people need!
Well, I'm not really sure which it is, but I know, it's definitely either, 2inches for 7hrs OR 7inches for2hrs!
But to the subject, it is both gender that projected at least this much. Something about allowing cosmic energy to re-energize/re-vitalize the body. Supposedly one can travel to anywhere in the astral body. To the bottom of the ocean to other galaxies! If one is VERY adept they can access the Akashic records & learn the mysteries (to us) of the cosmos!
However to the point, this wouldn't necessarily raise one's consciousness, as one would have to be at quite a highly raised level of consciousness in order to do this to begin with!
I read an interesting article the other month on dung beetles. It was either in Scientific American or Astronomy, I can't recall. The scientists performed experiments on the beetles by gluing(not permanent), little hoods over their heads so they couldn't see the sky. Evidently they move their balls at night & it was found that they actually use starlite(i.e. brightest stars) &/or moonlight to guide them. Often they roll them to their nests by standing with their back legs on the ball & push with their front legs. A sort of dung end first, if one would allow the pun! I do have OCP(obsessive compulsive punnery)!
I'm thinking it's referring to raising the Kundalini up through the Chakras, to higher a consciousness as opposed to just separating one's astral body from the physical? As we all astral project when we sleep, at the very least an inch or two separation.
