Jan, how on earth do you decipher anything you read in a profile, or maybe you don't........ so what makes you contact a guy, or maybe you wait for him to contact you, and if thats the case, how can he believe what he reads in your profile.... or should we jst look at the pictures and be scorned for making our assumptions on your photos alone !
Well I gave you a couple of reasons. kids for one. As for believing my profile, of course if somebody is of the same opinion as me then they probably won´t believe my profile until they communicate privately, speak to me or meet me. That´s fine.
My pictures incidentally do not not say anything concrete or revealing about me, nor do most people´s pics for that matter.
Maybe because I teach English I can look into what people write with a little more foresight?

Don't mean to pull you up here, but it is a pet hate of mine and an English teacher that uses the expression for children as "kids" is not doing it for me. Mine are children.
That is my foresight...... !
So..... in the 21st century, with all the technology to hand you still believe it's the guys job to make the first move. Is that how women maintain control, or end up commenting on how there are so many men on a dating site that think women are just here to be riduculed.
Surely you are a strong woman with a mind of her own, that can make contact with a guy and still have the where with all to maintain control over the conversation ?
