But, on the other hand, people do change their mind in a dinamic world. If they've been bombarding us with the fault of lack of effective Union as a catalyst of the fast spread of the crisis (lie- they did meet billions of times and each country has emergency voting system, meaning that there are extraordinary/temporary legislations) and maybe after that, citizens could have decided to change their minds!
In each country, numerous forums, conferences were health to tell us how good the Treaty was and many other subjects that will soon be voted. I went to one, were they've taken the oportunity to remind us that Turky is good for EU. See, the campaigns are for a reason.

I couldn't vote...If I could have it would have been NO...

The reason I couldn't is becuase I was born North of the Island...And the UK didn't have a vote...Yes I'm Irish and have an Irish Passport..because I was born in Belfast, I was refused the right to vote.

Not forgetting to mention I live in another demoractic country (that their President, my good friend Sarko) is all for European intergration ...I can't vote for him if I wanted to( I don't)..Up until 18mths ago I couldn't vote here (I've been here 15yrs)..I can now vote in local city hall elections because of a change in the law.

As in all things political - the outcome was planned years ago - just the motions have to be got thru now to appease the public.... a little bit of brainwashing and media bashing ..... but what they want is what they get .... big money in the end!
So just relax - nothing anyone does or says will change things.

Nope. I'm Irish a proud.

Let me explain why....My parents where both born before 1949...Thats the year Ireland gained full independence from the UK...And written into the Irish constitution..any one born on or before 1949 (or their desendants automatically)have the right to claim Iirsh citzenship...this was reinforced by articles 2 & 3* of the Irish consitution, where the Irish goverment laid claim over the North of the island.

And in 1998 this was copper fastened by the GFA (an international peace agreement signed by British gov, Irish gov and the alphabet soup of brigade of Northern Irish politcal groups) also recognised in Brussells and Washington....

Now we've cleared up my Nationality...Back to the thread.

Steevey I've notice you've said thanks but little else..why are you so happy????

Ok, read it. North of Ireland is still UK. When that happens, you have no independent International status. You are just like Wales, Scotland and England in the UK. In peace, yes, but not independentscold if so, guide me to theexplicit link

Read it again cris...you called me British and I explained why I'm Irish...

And the reason why my country is divided is because a democratically elected goverment forced it will on my country..

Back to the thread or open up an Irish thread....

This is about something very scary....All you have to do is read the small print.

I'm sorry but having its own government doesn't mean it is independent.

I'm going to flower people from North Ireland and ask them what's written in their passport.

See ya latercheers

For someone who very often proclaims to be oppressed or vitimised because off your ethic origin...You should be ashamed of yourself...

I'm going to treat your last remark with all the contempt it deserves..

Sometimes cris you open your mouth with out thinking...and you show your ignorance and stupidity on lots of subjects.

Try to stay on the thread...

The reason why most EU countries aren't given the right to vote is because goverments are saying two things..one is the 'people' won't understand because it's to complex a document for people to understand and at the same time they know full well, it wont be accepted as has been shown...

The score so far is 3--1 to the No camp..but big brother hasn't a clue about the meaning of what a democratic vote is.......
