Thanks everybody! She is being very positive. Tears only started slipping a couple times in the conversation. You could tell by the change in her voice but she popped it back quickly. I think the stoic face is easier with everyone else but when you get to talking about it to someone who is very close its harder to keep it all brave. The losing of the hair is bugging her actually I think more than almost anything and that is temporary. lol

I'm not sure but I have read that during certain types of treatment if a special ice cap..(I think) is worn it can help drastically with the hair loss, apparently cost is a factor on why this isnt used more often..but for a woman this is probably one of the more horrid aspects involved..so maybe worth looking into for your friend
