Canada, what a country. From 110F above to 45F below all within 365 days. It's now about 85F. Humidity, about 85%. How do we adjust to these extremes ? WE ARE CANADIAN. Not that Montana and Michigan suffers any less. The 49th Parallel, an invisible line defined by our forefathers to separate these two great nations. I am envious however. You Americans have so many choices, the heat of Florida, the Mountains of Idaho. The aridness of the sun belt. We have, the extremes and only the extremes, for the exception of our West coast, same as Seattle. Be cool. Paws

Canada in it's infancy extended all the way down to the gulf of Mexico. We gave it up with the "Louisiana", purchase. Too bad. Paws

I know that there are some awesome people from Canada that I have met on CS...compared to the "snowbirds" that come stay in the condo in Orange Bch,Alabama...they were all so cheap...not spending any money while on vacation

We are in severe thunderstorm warning here until midnight.
Also weather very ripe for tornados. Don't like it but can't
change it. Guess I could move to Canada, eh?

My dad was very fond of Canadian Mist, lol. Wow, I just read up on it. That is whiskey. I knew it was some kind of alcohol. I wonder where in Canada they make it.

Afraid we get tornadoes here too, and even with the AC running all day my house is still 32 celsius or about 94 fahrenheit. Hope you ride out the storm OK.

been battling many fires. Have a good night. My AC is going

Icicles sound sooooo refreshing! Maybe I'll curl up with an ice pack tonight since I doubt I'll find a warm body in the next few minutes.

laugh
You're right about the rain - always a good thing. Have a good sleep.

Turned off the AC and opened the windows, hiding in the basement to cool off before I try to sleep.... what's disturbing is office buildings downtown Toronto where it's so cold the staff take sweaters to work.

I'm just afraid it's not "if" but that it's inevitable. As consumers, most live in the present and don't give a damn what the next generation will have to deal with.
