Living in the moment and planning for the future is a normal course of action; however, in matters of the heart there are no GPS's to guide us to our destination. With the many forks in the road ahead to our 'love of our life' we many times travel the road less travelled.

thewall2: Not quite, what I'M SAYING IS there's nothing wrong with wanting a long term relationship in the future, just don't make your happiness depend on it.

I know; being dependent on another human being isn't a very good idea........ especially if they both know it and don't appreciate it!

True. And don't try to fast-forward and skip over the joys of today, trying to close in on the uncertainties of tomorrow.

I see some on CS being frustrated by not finding someone. This is normal. I believe that the search and the journey to find 'her' is just as exciting as when you do. Enjoying the journey to your designation is important to me.

Very true...I think my future can be what I WANT it to be,but not by controling it,but by being open to whatever happens, and whatever happens is O.K....BECAUSE we're resting in God's arms.....and it's a good place to be.
