It would be funny or awkward (whichever) if you 'bumped' into someone you already know - like an ex or someone.

Has this ever happened here? Just curious.shock

Not on this site, but on another site I saw someone I knew. I personally don't see the problem, but they ignored me when I tried to contact them. I was only saying hello, not trying to ask them out.

My ex met someone he's been seeing for a while now on Plenty of Fish, so I won't go near that site just in case he's still lurking (or his mates - think they wanted safety in numberslaugh ).

But getting to know people on internet sites is much easier when they've actually posted comments and joined in some of the chats. If you just looked at someone's profile, say, and they were looking for someone short-term and not from around where they live, then you could think the worse and assume they are married or whatever. At least with posting you might be able to read more about them?

But then maybe I'm just overly cautious and shy, so happy to chat but less likely to get involved just yet. Guess we all move at our own speed, and what we feel comfortable with.

But if I did bump into someone I knew, I think I would be ok with it - I'd just have to be bold. shimmy I love these little pics.
