I finished washing clothes and was putting them in the dryer. I closed the door and turned it on. I heard this thumping noise and thought for a minute "I don't remember putting sneakers in there to dry". YIKES!!! Opened the door and my cat flew out screaming.
Another time I was putting things away in the hall linen closet before I went to work. When I got home, I thought it was strange my cat didn't greet me. I called him and heard this far away meow. Finally found him closed up in the hall closet. He was in there all day.

Your dog must be almost as big as mine. My male has a thing for kittens. He dosent hurt them, but he likes to play with them. He is so big that when he picks one up all that hanges out of his mouth is the tail, and the kittens go looking for him to play. They spend half of the time looking like they have been starched.

i had two schnauzers male and female, they would get mad if left alone and would grab the end of the toilet paper and chase one another thru the house, it would be thru chair legs under table and they seemed to hit every spot in house

My Cocker Spaniel that I had years ago would always run up to any new person that came to the house and pee on their shoes. She would then start screaming like someone was beating the crap out of her. They would just look at me like..."I didn't do anything" and the whole time she would just be peeing on their shoes. I miss her. She died about 3 years ago. I had her for 14 years.
