i do read lots of profiles with pics or no pics, and there are some profiles that are interesting never mind there is no pic of the person. However i think most people would not be inclined to make contact with that person because its only natural for a person to want to put a face to whom they're talking to.

Do you send flowers and ecards? Do you offer to send them a photo if they respond? Why would a woman want to talk to a faceless man in this day and age? The internet is a strange and dangerous place and having a lot (up to 8) different photos helps a lady know that you are more likely real and not a player, scammer, freak. A photo isn't a guarantee but it does help.
Post in the forums and let the ladies get to know you and your personality. You might grow on them. You will have to come out from behind the mask eventually though so why not just do it now?

Honestly Margz...i don't do searches. Seems i have enough emails to keep me busy. Most are friends from the forums...but if someone emails me picture or no picture...i still respond with courtesy.
I suggest that maybe you hang out in the forums...get to know some of the people. And if possible...try to get a picture up. It could improve your chances. HTH
