friends4now: I am wanting to write a memoir of my life-up to this point-while I can still remember most details.
Have any of you ever attempted such a thing or know where I can get some organization ideas?I don't have the time to take a creative writing class and there aren't any offered next term anyway so any advice anyone here has would be very appreciatedemail me if you choose toothank you

well... i wrote one of my life a while back... it went something like:
i was born, i grew up.... i screwed and then i had a funeral.... then i was reborn and screwed some more... and lastly i look forward to the "real" funeral so i can get some sleep for a change ....

If I were you, I would sit down and list all of the major turning points in your life. They may night be major occurances, but to you they made quite an impression. That will help you figure out what is an enriching part of the story and what might alienate readers.

I never have but suggest write your thoughts down or get small tape recorder and do it immediately, it might spark other memories and then you can at some point put in order.

well i am not actually anticipating it will be publicly published but to have it and be able to add to it as life goes on would be nice especially for my child and maybe his kids one day
