can 2b cervical cancer be cured? (11)
rainlucy: Recently I've got a bad news about my mom,she caught cervical cancer 2b,I didn't accept the truth at first.because she looked very healthy,she still go dancing and does housework,she didnot even get sick easy,and,there's no cancer in our family.both my grandma are over 80.but I faced the truth when I got the result.she is staying in hospital taking her first chemo right now.today is the 5th day.she feels painful from all over her body.especially her stomach-she doesn't want to eat anything.it makes me feel very sad,she is only 52,I never thought my life would without my mom someday.
I checked many websites,but I couldn't find any information about someone who was cured from cervical cancer 2b.I don't know if it's possible to cured...is there anyone out there know anything about this?
the doctor said she has to take 2 time chemo before operation.then chemo again.they said she has to take 8 chemo in total.I don't know whether she could handle it.

I dont know if it will help but I found this explanation for you;
I can only say that shes in the best hands at hospital and if they didnt think there was hope for her then they wouldnt have started treatment. Nowadays theres good cure rates for cancer and it seems 2b isnt as advanced as some cases and it could well have been caught in time - dont lose hope hun

well i had it two types it was going into the last stage doctor said make the best of the year but there was this new chemo drug so i said what do i have to lose so here i am its been over 10 years now i,m alive

Very sorry to hear about your mom. Essiac tea has been known to cure many types of cancer, among other things. You can purchase the herbs from most health food stores, at a very low cost, they are usually pre-mixed and come with instructions.
Also there is a book called PERSCRIPTION FOR NUTRITIONAL HEALING by James F Balch,MD and Phyllis A Balch,CNC. Isbn #0-89529-429-X. This book has a very good section on cancer which includes protocals and dosages for treatment. I myself have personally seen someone with lymph cancer who followed the protocals and their cancer went into remission. I hope this info helps.

I don't know if this is of any use, but I read only yesterday an article by a woman who had stage 4a cervical cancer and reduced it to a 1b before undergoing further treatment. She read a book called "Anti Cancer - A New Way of Life" by Dr David Servan-Schreiber (Penguin books). The focus of the book is going on an anti-inflammatory diet.
It is worth a look. I will post this reply in an email to you also just in case you don't pick up the thread.
