Maybe you should quit looking with your heart and try using your head?

Some people fall in love easily, some people are just looking for a good time. Put those two people together...someone's bound to get hurt.

Hi Sundown--I certainly hear what you are saying. Oh, if we could only be so wise all of the time. Love doesn't seem to care whether we're going to be "smart" about it or not. I'm getting up there, well, sort of, and I would like to think I'm not going to get taken, etc... but even friendships that seem iron, strong, good, can kick you bad, too. It's all a crap shoot, if you ask me. /Gotta hope you get lucky enough to find someone special who won't booger you up, I guess. Nothing would make me happier than findng somebody really nice to be close to, snuggle and cuddle, etc... (read my prof. for details, if yur curious...) and I'm afraid because I have a trusting and sweet nature I'll get kicked to the curb. Sometimes I really hate other people, and then I know it isn't right to hate. It's all a crap shoot. Gotta hope for the best.

I think it just means you have not found the right one.
There is a saying that goes something, like this: Guard your Heart until the one you fancy has proven to fancy you in return.

basically what CJ & Sundown have said...it is difficult we have all been there, best thing is to just take a deep breath & think things through then if it feels right in both the heart & mind then you are on the right track. All the best my friend and stay positive
