I have 5 brothers, one son, two step sons, almost all male cousins, and was around the construction industry most of my life. Are you kidding? Most men wouldn't have a clue how to answer you if you asked to tell you about their feelings. LOL Not that I would be the worlds best at answering that question myself mind you

The trick is to get them talking without thinking they're talking about their feelings. You can't call it 'feelings', or they clam up. With my son, I say something like: It really stinks to be called last when they're making up teams... Suddenly the feelings come flowing out...

Ask me how I feel about fishing or ask my feelings toward hitting a great golf shot. Ask my feeling about going to see a chick flick movie. Or ask my feeling during a sport show I am watching. You can get me to talk about my feeling then!!!!!!!

I find when I'm talking to a man and ask him what some of his interests as in fishing,sports etc you'd be surprised what kind of response I get.Especially if I show an interest.
