I just picked up a Sprint HTC Hero (Android) smartphone this past Saturday and love it. It has a few quirks but is all around solid. I was looking at Blackberries at first. Specifically the Tour, but researched this one and I havnt looked back yet.

Why buy anything else other than a normal phone if it is not for the looks, street cred or the kudos.
20 bucks will get you a phone for talking to people..... why pay 400 ?
