Being the great christian that George Bush confesses to be, hasn't he caused a rift between believers and non believers. Has he found WMD or is he still waiting for his forgiveness, G.Bush a christian (YEAH RIGHT), who the hell does he think he is and why the hell hasn't he been found GUILTY for creating a pathetic war based on his values.

Besides, an American president cannot start a war without the approval and backing of the congress. And Bush had the support of the Democrat congress when they started the war.

Further, Bush wasn't th eonly one in the west who thought Saddam Hussein had WMD's- so did Clinton, and the UN.

Correct me if I'm wrong as I'm sure you will but didn't G. Bush defy the UN's (ie, in case your not up to date with reality let alone actuality disregarding the truth) sanctions concerning NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. What part of the question don't you understand Sherlock?

Why did the UN say no to a pre-empt strike, why did G.Bush show contempt towards the UN and Geneva convention ie water boarding etc etc etc etc etc and apparently we're all supposed to say "oh well"

You want to criticize Bush for torture?? Buddy, Saddam Hussein and his boys practiced torture!! Get REAL. Waterboarding is a relatively light form of coercion compared to what most of the corrupt regimes of the world engage. The Geneva convention is silent regarding waterboarding BTW. Waterboarding is controversial in that is certainly is a coercive act, but it does no long term harm to a person. So, I have to say again, get real.

The UN's membership is composed, by a large extent, of small third world countries. Most of theses countries, and therefore most of the world is ruled by corrupt regimes of various compositions, that don't want anyone looking down their throat either. The UN is a disgrace, and anyone who studies the issue realized that pretty quickly.

And of course Saddam dissed the UN's weapons inspectors and played the cat and mouse game for a decade.
