What? I'm a pet person.
No I don't post hints, besides I'm the wrong age... location might be favorable, but I'm about a decade outside her preferred age range as I just mentioned above.
With so many more single men than single women around here, I just take exception to any woman from this area complaining about having problems meeting men here... the numbers are already severely stacked in the gal's favor! I'd LOVE to have a problem like that! Walk a mile in my shoes.
It's depressing being a single male around here.

Michael211_2000: There's 70,000 MORE single men than single women in the Houston Metro area (according to the CBS evening news a few years ago)... pick 1! With numbers like these if a woman can't find a really good guy to date then something's wrong with her, cause there are way too many single guys available around here.

Now that wasn´t really a clever remark. Lots of women here, and men incidentally, complain regularly about people who start up long distance relationships with them, only to find out later that they were never serious at all, sometimes to the point of disappearing completely.
There are some who are working hard to maintain an LDR, now you may have just put even more doubts in their minds. Not only that,
you´ve probably blown your own chances if you ever become truly interested in someone from afar. thumbsdown:

What the heck are you on about? That was no coherent response to my previous post whatsoever. What does ham radio have to do with your post declaring that LDR´s are good because you never get to meet the other person.
In any case, I don´t have to use "ham radio", I travel and work so I actually MEET people from different countries all the time, AND
I´m not here looking for anything other than friends and discussion.

Nope. Up till now I have never thought about traveling anywhere that requires one. Never had the money for it.
When I think about it, I guess the Bahamas don't require it since I have been there quite a few times...but that was always a trip that was put together by my mom.

Trust me, travel is the best education ever! Its an experience, an adventure, travelling to different countries. I have learned the most whilst experiencing diverse cultures and better than any academic education......
I wouldn't trade my travel for ANYTHING!!

JETS, do you know how to fly JET's, they burn Karosen and run best above 10,000 feet, most like 53, to 70,000 feet, Turbo-Props 10, to 20,000... 
Blimps are cheap if you like to sail the wind, but very few places to land, oh, and you need to know your Radio Gear... So your really not too into this...
