I KNOW that feeling. My 16 yr. old will return Tuesday night after being gone nearly 2 1/2 weeks to San Diego with his dad. He has been doing this visit for three years now. I miss him more each time.
People say things like "enjoy the peace and quiet" or whatever. I tell them he is such a cool kid to have around, and he never causes any problems, and I can't wait till he returns.
Now with the airlines new restrictions, I hope his flights go smoothly.
I know how empty the house can be without the "main attraction" but now is a good time to .... well you'll think of something ! ';)

I just read that he is only two! Now is a good time to go through his room and get rid of the worn out toys and clothes. Fix his room up for him, I MISS my kids BEING TWO ! My older son is 24, and already told you my younger son is 16. Two was so fantastic. Can't wait for grandbabies!

I'm always sorry to hear about dads who get their kids so infrequently. When I moved out from my second son's dad, over en years ago now, it was three blocks away and he came over all the time to hang out. I just couldn't "live" with him.
