trish123: I think its that starting gun bit as the song says - if people keep waiting around for things to happen they are going to end up disappointed, you have to get out there and make em happen

as for cocaine, all I have to say on that is that powders are very dangerous and the effects misleading.......

To quote the last American Virgin:
"There are LOTS of ways to have fun..."

There is a Yeats work...INNISFREE,which has always reminded me of Thoreau at Walden.
Any of you Gaels into WBY?
Yeats....There's a thread which would perish so quickly as to seem stillborn.

He actually lived a half hour drive from here. There's a tower called Yeat's Tower and a local park in Coole near Gort in Co. Galway which was once a private estate where he and his contemproraries used to meet. It's a beautiful place with the most wonderful redwood trees. As to literature, I'm afraid it's wasted on me. Another Thoreau quote to live by: As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.wine

Hence the thought, if we male/female have thoughts of quiet desperation, we maybe need to grab a good positive energy book and change our thought pattern just a wee bit. dunno

As I have such a wild imagination it has helped me get through many downs in my life. Some say the imagination is a dangerous thing. With me personally I disagree. My imagination, as I clear my mind, takes me to places of beauty and solitude and helps me to write short stories of love from many many years ago.teddybear
