As for you're problem about LDR's...Just change the meaning (women change their mind before they even get out of bed, so blokes are allowed to change their minds once in a while))....From 'LONG DISTANCE...' to 'LOCALLY DATING'...can't loose, the best of both world's.

Visiting new places is always fun! though wouldn't be my choice for living there full time..islands make me feel claustophobic. Hence Hawaii and Aruba are out of questions as well. Remembering Aruba -Bad hair days due to 24/7 non stop wind were ok for 7 days
though downtown was very clean, cute and colorful..couple great restaurants too.But glad to hear you love it there!!

Yes I love traveling myself and seen interesting parts of this world.I settled in Gozo simply to be out of mainstream hectic life.They are doing a lot of construction on this island too but you still take the time knowing and hanging out with your neighbors and enjoying a simple but fulfilling lifestyle.I learned to love it here.Malta is so much busier than Gozo and thus out of question living there.I used to live in Spain but found it hard there to communicate with the local population since nobody speaks English.I understand the claustrophobic part and have to get out here and there.I just returned from Germany's Black Forest and got back with new momentum.I was in Hawaii and didn't like it too much.Just like any U.S. state meanwhile.Yes I am from Florida.Take care and it was nice talking to an open minded educated lady.
