If they'de consider not roadblocking and obstructing everything Obama's administration trys - we might already be seeing a recovery and getting back to work. But the Republican non-partison and congressional in-fighting is purely done for political party power struggle. They just want Obama to fail to save face ........ The jerk Cheney is a prime example of the attitude that encourages everyone to drop support for a president that this country clearly elected to make a change.
The Republicans want back in so bad that they're sacrificing the country's needs for their egotistical fulfillments.

No offense but it was South carolina that was the first state to get away from the union. I do not think they were wrong in doing this. If we were wrong in doing so what gave the union the right to get away from England?

Regarding my screen name well Jackson was very educated and probably had more sense then a lot of those generals from up north. I know for a fact that many northern civil war leaders were not that bright many were incompetent one fine example was Burnside. Grant himself was not great academically and technically Lee was brighter afterall Lee was Lincoln's first pick to lead the northern troops onto southern soil.
