My wife passed away because of a heart defect she was born with Kittykat, it eventually made her heart weak and took her life with a massive heart attack. As for the poll I was curious on how people felt about widow and widowers, I have had a few in the past say they wouldn't date us because we would be wanting the same type of person and that they couldn't compete with a ghost or a memory. However that sentiment is a bunch of Malarchy, if I wanted the very same type of woman my wife was then get the straight jacket out because there would be something mentally wrong in that thinking. She has a cherished part of my heart always and I seriously think she would want me to find love again I know I would if I was in her place. I would love to hear from more people...
I think we all have some expectations of what we basically want in a partner, Kind , loving, no serious bad habits like drugs gambling, or alcahol. However to try to mold a person to your expectations other then that is a waste of time and you should love the person for who they are , trying to change someone never works they are who they are .
I think you should go to counciling and try to discover why you have been together all these years, buried is the love you once had for each other, theres nothing wrong about trying to rediscover what you once had after all theres alot of history there and being single isn't all its cracked up to be, I would rather be married, find the happiness you once had its there....
Depends on what? even if they were mean spirited I would try to be the bigger person and not lower my self to thier level. I try to keep it friends if I can and if they ever needed my help I would try to be thier for them thats the way I am.
I try to remain friends, my last girlfriends father passed away and she broke it off with me because I wasn't there for her. The problem is she never told me her Dad passed away or I would have been there in a heart beat. So she told me where were you(A PHONE CALL AWAY) Its over, leave me alone all this in a text, I replied in a text I respected her wishes, and ended by sending her a condolance card with money to help with funeral expenses, if things end I try to do things with class and never try to be mean, its the way it should be, don't you think?
I have dealt with some of the rich and they were rude and arrogant, the fact is there are very few people that are wealthy that are also down to earth. Those are the wealthy I respect. Respect doesn't come from wealth, I think how you live your life is how your respected, would you stop someone who is in need, do you give your spare time to charity, will you listen to a friend when they need your ear. This I think is what most people take into consideration, the kind of thinking that you get respect because your wealthy is truely empty.
A family gathering you could do karoake sing her a love song and then propose to her, or plan a romantic getaway like Cancun and propose to her on the beach under the moon light. what ever way you chose it should be romantic and memorable....thats how I roll
Divorce is no mark of shame, there are alot of people who get into relationships that just donot end up healthy. Now the person above you was saying Catholics can't marry in the church after a divorce, which is true however if you want to be truthful and if you listened to your vows it say's till death do us part. It means even if you divorce you can't remarry because you took vows till death, it didn't say till divorce do us part. I you think I am making this up you can find it in 1st book of corrinthians chapter 7 verse 39. A divorced person must do what they have to do god doesn't hold it against them and no one else should either but his laws are firm on remarriage so please dont kill the messenger I am just giving you the truth even if its not good news.

Amen sister you have it right, as for your comments Conrad the unions are the balance The republicans have corporate sponsers The democrats have unions, the republicans and corporations last year tried to kill unions thus you had the Wisconsin fight, they are now doing recall electuions for Scott Walker and the corporate republicans lost thier vote to kill unions in Ohio. Corporations will never be able to revert back to the old industrial days of child labor ( which they tried to revise that law to) in a demcracy people will always overrule tyrants.
Yes it is hard to know who to trust, anyone wanting to go to a messenger site right away or wants personal information are usually scammers, stick to the dating website if you want to get to know someone. Time is the biggest factor and listening to what the other is saying, you can usually tell when someone is bsing you when thier story doesn't match up. I see the scammers are sinking to a all new low using widowed status to scam people, as a widower myself I think these are the worst kind of trash on this earth to be using the widower status. As for moving I would never move I have almost 27 years vested in a good job with a retirement (I hope) on the horizon, I would have to be insane to move :D
For the men who don't take resonsability for their own children they aren't worthy of being called a man much less a DAD. For those men who are willing to eccept and love children of the women thewy date you rock and are true men of character. The rich want more, the republicans are kissing thier butts and trying thier best to kill the middle class so theres more poor and a handful of Rich at the top. If the Republicans suceed which is doubtful, they will have turned the USA into a third world country and will have cut their own throats, the rich will have no middle class to sell thier high end products to anymore. This is evident that people are getting sick of the greed by Occupy movement, lets hope people wake up in 2012 and vote to remove the tea party and republicans who ran for creating jobs and instead tried to bring down the labor movement which would be antijob creation, if theres rot in our melting pot its the rich that stink up the states.
