Yeah all dressed up with no place to go, something as a simple phone call would be nice before I went through all the trouble of getting ready. Its just courtesy to let someone know if you can't make it regaurdless if you a man or woman. Thanks for the reply

You could be right scubadiva and I dont mind the bluntness, as for them being stuck in traffic well thats doubtful because I take that into consideration, I have waited as long as an hour and a half passed the time we were supposed to meet and I am always early for my dates, I live in a small town so its doubtful they were stuck in traffic for an hour and a half lol, thankyou for your reply.....

Before I reply to gypsiekisses please let me address all the ladies here, I did not start this poll to be one sided but to get the ladies opinions on why the ladies who were to date me didn't show up. I am most assured there are men like that to and why they don't show up for dates I have no idea. If I tell a woman I am going to do something like meet her for a date I always follow through but then thats me I do what I say and say what I mean. So please ladies don't take the poll personally, As for Gypsiekisses, When I talk to a woman I get to know her well before I ask her out on a date, I never rush things and I am a perfect gentleman. When dating I always suggest a public place like a nice restuarant like applebees or poncho and lefties, this is thoughtful for her safety and with hopes it makes her more comfortable, having said this how could it be my fault they don't show up? Thats they're responsability to show up for the date not mine and if they can't its thier responsability to call me and let me know, one date I traveled 70 miles to meet her and she never showed never called. I'm sorry but I can't see that I am doing anything wrong to cause them not to show.

Yeah you need to find a secure man, but why not date your best friend you already get along together and probably make a perfect couple, good romances start out as best friends, just a thought

Could be a reason of uncompatibility, maybe he viewed her but something she said in her profile just didn't jive with what he wanted. I have seen alot of people whine about wanting a guy who is not a player but are hung up on looks or his pocket book..sorry if the truth hurts but its the majority of what I have found, I have found very few women who truely want to get to know me for me, I am a great guy and as adverised a very romantic man and very caring yet it doesn't seem good enough, just my observation of whom I have talked to and those who ignored me, you bypassed a great guy for 50,000 plus, if the truth hurts so be it.

I hope the gas tax and lisence fees are going to the California Department of Transportation, you have a huge infrastructure there, pity the people if its not, Minnesota I35w bridge collapse is a PRIME EXAMPLE OF POLITICANS LACK OF UNDERESTIMATING WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN YOU NEGLECT INFRASTRUCTURE, I hope this mistake isn't repeated, wasn't DOT'S FAULT THEY TRIED TO WARN THEM OVER AND OVER.

I agree no one should fear the government but this hands in your pocket leting the government get by with murder started with the bush administration, now yes I realize every president from the start of the US has probably gotten away with some things but I have never seen such blatent acts with such arrogance towards anyone who even tried to appose Bush. He also used the terrorists to scare the united states citizens and contol them to his agenda, how do you think he got elected to a second term? If ever there was a dictatorship it belonged to the Bush administration, you need to give Obama a chance to get the life start flowing again after it deadended because of Bush. Its not fair to have the guy just start work that will take years to accomplish and frame him as a dictator before hes even dne anything. Cut the man some slack Nick, you aren't the only one working for the government, I've been with the government 23 + years I know a litle about how politicans work.

Amen brother...everyone talks about Clinton screwing a intern oh god help us that he did that, everyone stood around playing pocket pool while Bush screwed the country, Obama was handed a country in deep doo doo, geeze people give the guy some time to try to straighten this mess out, it took two terms to get us here, its not going to get straightened out like magic ..give him time and some support. I often start conversations with strangers in stores, no big deal its just a conversation nothing more intended. I am a friendly type of person ex bartender so I have the gift of gab, I have met some really nice people this way and have had some great conversations and a few good laughs.
