This question comes up frequently, I rarely receive answers to mails that I send, used to bother me to see that a person had read my mail, viewed my profile and decided not to answer but after 2 years of this I just put it out of my mind, no answer means they are not interested, simple as that.

I have gotten pretty much ZERO responses from contacting total strangers on this site. Get lots more from contacting people I've met in the forums, but by then you're just friends anyway. This is not the best site for getting dates, but I'm not sure why. Stick around for the forums, and have some fun.
