In response to: I had a gentleman send me a flower the other day so I sent him one back with a simple thank you. On his profile it states he is unhappily married. Call me a prude but I have a problem with this. I feel it is morally wrong for me to communicate with someone in this manner that is married even unhappily. I hate to be rude but of course you are going to be unhappily married if you are looking on line for a relationship. I got an email from him. I am not answering it. I just wanted to know has anyone else ever had this happen to them and how did they handle it?
First of all, why worry about being polite to him? By saying that he is married and then approaching you, he is belittling your importance. I had a man approach me on myspace in the same kind of flirtatious manner. I looked at his profile and not only was he taken, but his girlfriend was eight months pregnant. I wrote him back and told him to man up and take care of his girlfriend and child. Then I blocked him. Why be polite to such losers?

But is it even true that he is UNHAPPILY married? He is lying and he is a cheater. Why is he still with her IF he is unhappy? Does she know that he is unhappy? Why doesn't she work on his marriage instead of looking for someone to cheat with? I never get such emails because I say in my profile: NO MARRIED men. You must be legally single in order to contact me. And what exactly does he want? Reply and tell him that "Thanks for the card" but you are not interested in married men if you are not.

To bad you couldn't contact his wife and tell her that he's unhappily married.
CjTenorSax: I can understand your point. Yes there IS a big difference, as you have said. However for me, I would not even get involved with a separated Guy -they still have Unfinished business and that is still a recipe for a heart heart - most likely of the person seeing the separated person, as there is still the possibility, the Separattion is temporary. Not worth the trouble IMHO.
Amen. I agree with you. I will not even date a man who is separated. You must be legally single and sort out your unfinished business first. Someone wrote here once that she used to date men who were separated only for them to go back to their wives later. I knoe that does not happen in all cases but .... I am not going there.
