I agree Big John, a true friend is hard to find. I have a few best friends..one I have known for over 30 years. We are almost one and the same. Another is going thru hell right now, and the rest of us are there for her. Keep well the road.------ This thread is Archived ------

i concur
i have a few friends
man and women
that i have know for 20 and 30 years
we KNOW each other
we have CHOSEN to remain friends
it is what makes life bearable
and its good i think to have someone that knows your history warts and all
we all need counsel now and again
honest informed counsel

I had the most amazing best friend in the world and when we first met we didnt really gel with each other,through the years we got to know on another and the friendship was sealed,i was a very lucky woman to have such a friend, we knew each other inside out and the time we had as good friends was phenomenal,sadly she died four years ago aged 40,it takes a while to grow a friendship but well worth it..
